Target Restocks Collectors Edition of It Ends With Us as Film Adaptation of Bestselli
Colleen Hoover's bestselling novel returned to number one on the charts following the Blake Lively film release

The highly-anticipated film adaptation of “It Ends With Us” is here, giving viewers a live action depiction of Colleen Hoover‘s bestselling book of the same name.
Starring Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, “It Ends With Us” tells the story of Lily Bloom (played by Lively in the film), and follows her loving yet tumultuous relationship with husband Ryle Kincaid (Baldoni).
The new screenplay is based on Hoover’s 384-page novel, which was originally published in August 2016 and quickly became a “New York Times” bestseller. The paperback returned to number one on the charts following the film trailer’s release and is now on sale for up to 35% off for a limited time on Amazon.com and Target.com. While Lily and Ryle’s relationship is explored throughout the book, “It Ends With Us” also introduces the character of Atlas Corrigan (played in the movie by Brandon Sklenar), who is said to be Lily’s first love. When Atlas discovers that Lily may be caught up in a cycle of abuse, he rushes to her aid — only for both of them to be confronted by a jealous Ryle. While the themes of abuse and jealousy are woven throughout the plot, “It Ends With Us” is ultimately still billed as a “romance novel.” Publisher Atria Books describes it as a story about “a workaholic with a too-good-to-be-true romance who can’t stop thinking about her first love.”

Following the success of “It Ends With Us” (which reportedly sold more than a million copies worldwide), a sequel to the book was released in October 2022. Titled “It Starts With Us,” that book is currently also on sale on Amazon and at Target.
As for the movie version of “It Ends With Us,” the Lively-starring vehicle hit theaters on Aug. 9.
